I find it odd when people say we 'live in a sexually repressive culture' when our culture at every turn is telling us anything goes, from 'family friendly drag shows' to porn on demand. We are told to be non-judgemental about every fetish under the sun...

Is it normal and expected for girls to send nudes to men they barely know, porn is shoved in our faces across the internet, whether we want it or not, sex acts that used to be limited to porn like choking and anal are the norm, 'sex work is work' is a feminist mantra...

We don't live in a 'sexually repressive culture', we live in a porn culture. No one is repressing anything at all, and honestly we probably should be.

my culture was absolutely sexually repressive. I didn't know I had a vagina until 10 years old. we were expected not to kiss our husband until the marriage altar. I didn't know anyone else who believed otherwise. We had filters installed on our TV and I was homeschooled.
