Nobody should ever be ashamed of the melatonin of their skin, black white or otherwise. People living today are not guilty for the actions of dead people that they are usually not even related to. Even if they were they are not guilty and should be proud of who they are.

Yes. Having to put on sunscreen when going out in the midday sun for 1 hour is bs. Slightly brown is probably good enough to offer some protection. Though obviously sunscreen would still be needed for longer exposure
