I'm a woman and I love porn. Porn was invaluable to me coming out of a sexually repressive culture - it helped normalize it and gave me a way to access sexuality that wasn't available anywhere else. It also helps satisfy preferences u can't get irl! Love to use it to unwind.

Honest question: Why keep porn? So many of society’s worst problems are connected to or amplified by porn use and the porn industry, from pedophilia to sexual assault, to plain bad sex. Why not just make it illegal, full stop? Join my Substack chat here: meghanmurphy.substack.com/chat/posts/526

I’m glad it was a good experience for you. What bothers me is not knowing if the individuals are fully consenting participants. Then there are those disturbing accounts of brutal rape that end up on porn sites. We need to hold them accountable. For now I’ll stick to erotica.

You can’t go back and should not. Growing up national geographic was our go to place for semi nude women! The tragedy is that supply of women eager to work is so great those that get jobs are sometimes badly treated. It’s a tough world out there and always has been.

🤔 I don't know why so many people don't get that making something illegal is the same as putting people in cages: if putting people in cages is worse than whatever is being made illegal, who's really the bad guy in that story ?
