It's a much more efficient google/stack overflow. If you're a newbie programmer, part of the issue is you don't know the terms or the landscape of *how* to ask the question; good question asking comes from experience. Without that, chatGPT is awesome.

Even if you are an advanced sw dev, it's still quite useful. You just need to get the hang of it and come up with creative ways to fit it into your workflow. It's like having an expert that knows much about everything beside you. It has it's limitations but what doesn't?
