I think I would really like to have kids, except most ppl with kids seem to have an unhappier life, no free time, much higher stress, and a worse relationship with their partner. That's a scary thing to willingly enter into.

Having kids involves sacrificing much of your free time and your very self. If this experience helps you grow in some other satisfactory direction, then you'll enjoy it. If not, it will be a nightmare that won't end until one of you dies.

do you really need that free time when you have beautiful child? They are precious, spend time with them when they are young. Its the most amazing hobby anyone could ask for. If you dont see the value in this, dont have kids, you will be unhappy.

It basically depends on how much you fight your kid being who they’re gonna be I think, and also how good you are at discipline without damaging the kid. Spoken as someone who read extensively on how bad my parental units messed up

1) both parents care more about people and family than about money 2) both believe that the world is inherently good, 3) both want kids in the first place and believe in themselves as parents 4) live in location where housing is affordable for them 5) the sex is still good.

The parents I know who are happiest tend to be unselfish people by nature. They organize their lives around the kids and keep the focus on them.

just have a kid and then abandon it. so you secure that genetic lineage bag and leave it with your kids or something. in 10000 years, you might have a descendant alive at least that you can psychically beam into as you want.
