My older sister told me a very similar story about coming home and crying after her first real job after college. She was 22 at the time. I was 17. I guess that story really stuck with me because I opted out of the regular work force and became a prostitute instead. twitter.com/sun_girlxo/sta…

Sex 'work' is Work! Example, the coal miner... are they doing labor and sacrificing their body for capital?! SO IS ANYONE THAT USES THEIR BODY AND TIME IN EXCHANGE FOR CAPITAL!!!

Income doesn't excuse exploitation -- Tate's camgirls were paid good money, many prostitutes are abused but still get good money, etc. People who criticize sex work believe it's inherently degrading, they don't care about mundane benefits the work might have.

Two parties enter into agreement and in the end both get what they wanted out of it. Tf does "exploitative" even mean in this case?

I noticed the same people never say: "no one wants to be a roofer" or "no one wants to pour concrete". No ever claims that physical workers, who daily risk bodily injury are exploited, and I wonder why? Do we just accept dangerous physical labor as the status quo?
