I joined an internet support group for stalking, took me a while to realize that many of the ppl in the group are probably schizophrenic, and if you try to be like "maybe you need mental help" they all defend each other and say you're discriminating and victim blaming

Had a traumatic experience as a teen where someone laid a broken glass trap on the highway and then followed us after we pulled over. Maybe just a mean prank? Later I sometimes had intrusive paranoid thoughts about being followed home that I'd have to battle with. Sucks a lot.

I know someone like this. Convinced they are being followed, that people are hacking into their phone/PC and watching them all the time, sneaking into the house and moving things around, and if you gently suggest they could benefit from counseling they get really upset.

I have an aunt that is a victim of "gang stalking". She's blamed everyone as being in on the conspiracy and believes the government is conducting experiments on her and that people are accusing her of SA her grand daughter. I wish she would get help. It's terrible.

I can't imagine managing the attention you receive by putting yourself out there. However, what is it you are truly hoping to find?
