I joined an internet support group for stalking, took me a while to realize that many of the ppl in the group are probably schizophrenic, and if you try to be like "maybe you need mental help" they all defend each other and say you're discriminating and victim blaming

A brilliant phil student I knew in grad school started casually asking me at lunch one time whether I could hear what the people in booths nearby were saying about him. It was really weird-scary to go from confusion to realizing he was in the midst of a total psychotic break.
