if you can't go more than a day or two without showering before your body stinks (in a way that isn't easily solved by a quick wash of armpits/genitals) then that seems a little weird? is your skin ok?

during periods i'm really physically active, i just spot-wash the stinky parts more. but like, my general body does not begin stinking and i'm slowly starting to realize that maybe this is more common with other people?

i lived with someone for a year who was performing a similar experiment - showering a little less than once a week. desk job, little to no exercise, etc he stank. constantly. he didn't notice it, but i certainly did. are you sure you aren't noseblind to yourself?

They can have olfactory fatigue specifically in regards to you. Also is this a person who would normally tell you if you smelt without being asked or prompted by you?

they hadn't seen me in a week and just came over! last time I saw them I hadn't seen them for like six weeks and still they reported not stinky

i dunno - sounds like some people just smell less than others (or that some people don't register body odor as being as negative a smell as others) probably some combination of both. either way, i wouldn't want too many people experimenting with it.
