i feel like im going paranoid/insane cause i cant tell if ppl critiquing my research are doing it cause they don't like me or cause there's actually issues. it's a really inconvenient thing to get paranoid about because it conflates learning and growth with ppl trying to hurt me!

the vast majority of ppl who took my kink survey had no idea who i was, and the majority of them were female ppl just so confidently state 'oh it's simps' without actually checking what i publish

you stand corrected, but sooo many people do this, and it's people confidently repeating incorrect things about me in my replies and elsewhere and *other people read your unchecked claims* and likely don't come back to see my response. this accumulates and it fucking sucks
