I assume there are a lot of polyamorous people who don't make it their whole identity and try to convince others it's the best way.
I think like many other groups, the loud ones color our image of the group as a whole.

Poly people are probably disproportionately nerdy data folks so my guess is monogamous ones

Monog is my guess, since they’ll see higher numbers of poly people and assume that’s “not normal”

Is there any reason to believe your data isn't biased? Literally chapter 1 of How to Lie With Statistics goes over how almost all surveys are biased.
