Nah. Human artists are all trained on the work of other artists, should they not be allowed to monetize? These tools differ only in scale, not principle.

Every single human was “trained” on the work of existing artists -- Nothing is truly original. Influence has corrupted any hope of pure art.

It’s only considered unethical because of the interaction between art and money. At the bedrock, art is expression. And any curtailing of expression is a betrayal of artistic intent.
