This is typically said by people who have never been feared when they don't want to be. There is nothing quite like the skin crawling feeling of being unwelcome, but ppl being 'harmless' to ask you to leave.

I had on my mind the many tweets and videos I’ve seen about how men are often viewed as an implicit threat by women. I don’t want to be viewed that way and it would be bad for me to feel people were always afraid of me
