No one who fails to recognise that their civilisation, like all those before it, is self-destructing, should be considered smart.
Few - including myself - would consider me to be smart, but I do recognise that my civilisation is self-destructing.

Western civilisation has a fatal flaw, which is leading to its self-destruction. It's a flaw inherent to ALL civilisations, which is why they NEVER last.
It can be fixed, I believe, but only if recognised & understood, which demands an evolutionary perspective.
