published research is dogshit, so that's faint praise the important point is that there's no particular reason to believe that your sample is unusually likely to have skinnier escorts reporting higher incomes, so the fact that it's not perfectly representative isn't a huge deal

Did you calculate the income by multiplying from multiple responses, like appointments * hours per * price per hr? I wonder if that could have produced more varied results with estimation error
