As someone with a degree in economics and data science, 40 is TOO small a sample size for the data you are trying to measure considering how large of potential sample pool there actually is (ie- millions of SWers)

If you had a degree in economics, you’d probably know that the size of the population is irrelevant to the size of the sample, as long as it’s at least about 10x larger, which it obviously is.
The pool could be 1 trillion and her sample of 40 would have the same inferences.

Youre missing the second problem though. She’s just sampling random SWers on social media which isn’t representative of the population she’s then claiming she has “data” for.

You never claim anything. A data researcher would know a chart/ graph/ visual should also have interpretations and findings from a “research study”
