oh no there is, the bar just shows the average for that bin and confidence interval of that average. People earn above and below the average!

As someone with a degree in economics and data science, 40 is TOO small a sample size for the data you are trying to measure considering how large of potential sample pool there actually is (ie- millions of SWers)

it's 40 per bin, total of around 160. which is still small, but you probably know there's statistical tools to tell you exactly how much you can predict given the data you have; e.g., the confidence intervals
