Absolutely trash research ethics. Doesnt matter if you dont include identifying information - you are still expected to obtain consent from participants.

If I'm presenting myself as a data/social scientist or claiming any credibility for my research or following even the most basic IRB protocol, yes. The fuck. Otherwise just be transparent with what you're doing: at best, writing a memoir; at worst, writing fiction.
