you don't have differing life experiences! Everyone is pointing out rich ppl who were terrible, and I've had that experience too! My point is that raising rates *improves quality of clients*, not that it *guarantees your clients will definitely never be shitty*

You can say your marketing is working, based off your monthly earnings and your OF %, but how can you assume others’ marketing is not working for them? You don’t know what they make per month. What you call “romance novel vibes” marketing works very very well for some.

like, maybe it does, but my guess is most escorts haven't done A/B testing. afaik critically and intensely thinking and testing marketing, gathering data about it, is something I've never seen done in escort circles. Imo your marketing might work but there's low hanging fruit!

The marketing norm is a norm for a reason. It generally works. “Classy” presentation works, dressing nicely, presenting as feminine, emphasizing travel and/or education. I feel like I can think of peers whom I know to do well, and they all fall within this kind of marketing.

Imo a lot of this stuff does work, but this isn't exactly the thing i'm talking about - i'm talking about the 'feminine gaze' ideal. I think it's possible to signal high quality (tho ironic given how many ppl are yelling at me for being 'classist') while targeting men better
