I don't necessarily disagree with the ideas in the book. Are things still the same way as they were 40.years ago in the early 80s when the cited studies came out, or in 2000 when the book was published? Society has changed since then, so perhaps the ideas are less true now. /1

Wouldn’t it be more accurate to say biological maté preference priors perpetuate inequality as opposed to a fabricated institution like marriage?

I absolutely do not mind a fitter, older, richer, more educated girlfriend. However, I feel that it's not even worth trying to approach girls that are taller, stronger, more educated and richer than me.
