if made a phone with an app store to compete, that could literally change the world. You don't know how many companies I've consulted for who've been kneecapped by Apple - "good idea but we need to get Apple's approval, and they won't tell us why if they deny us"

i especially feel this about nudity and sex - you can't even consider any apps that would vaguely come near that, not kink matching apps, not anything erotic, and I consider that insulting to the artistic expression of humanity

Unbanning accounts that had been banned for specifically prohibited behaviors was real clear change in the status quo, especially when he indicated he wasn't going to do that.

I’ve actually worked with App Store approval process and they do tell you what’s wrong or not aligned with their terms of services.

Apple gate keep anything remotely controversial, Android hardly bother unless it's complained about
I don't see who would get Elon's phone unless it great in other regards. People won't generally change phone OS because of apps they've haven't used yet. Twitter hardcore users can use the webapp or get an Android and install the Twitter app by hand.
