Some mix of private and semi private. I dont mind sharing snippets of dms if something funny happened, without asking permission first. However, as a general rule I'd consider dms fully private

i am not great at respecting the privacy of DMs 😅 I mean I just love to share too much 🥺 definitely a way I show myself to be a bit sociopathic. and like if anything I like sharing the most insane and NSFW stuff the most it's just so much fun 😖

By default no, but that's because I doubt anyone cares about the conversations I have with people, not because I would have an ethical problem with it. As I see it, by sending me a DM, you implicitly consent to e.g. someone behind me seeing it by accident.

Depends on the context, mostly they should be private by default even if not sensitive. Unsolicited DMs, especially where someone is being a douche are perhaps more fair game. Guys being super creepy; **** pics unsolicited etc. are totally fair game to be outed publicly.
