Do multiple legs of a journey (changing planes) count as multiple "times" or it just one time if it's part of the same itinerary on the same day?

Over 360 flights in the last decade (which is when I started tracking data on this), 112 of which are considered long haul, and 23x around the world.

hmm, I assumed <100 but now that use my numbers, I must be up the 200s by now

Huh...I was counting trips, and still think I missed some, but was considering a trip once, nevermind the return, or connections (with occasionally intentionally long layovers), etc.
