when the astrology ppl got mad at me on twitter, i tried proposing various experiments to test, none of which they accepted BUT i propose that if i describe doing a test that appeared to support astrology, and they accept it as evidence, then that counts as approval of the test

next time imma be like "well I had 5 ppl vote on which of 5 birth charts matched me, and all of them voted for the correct one" and if the astrology person is like SEE, that's evidence! then i'll be like "i didn't actually do that, but u just accepted the proposed test as valid"

This assumes they agree that absence of evidence is evidence of absence. They don't. And given that they don't, they can disagree that the proposed test is valid, and still think it is evidence if it happens.
