Would you support a system where the government provides sexual welfare - hiring sex workers to provide free services to people in significant sexual need? (eg. ugly or v disabled people, ppl who haven't gotten laid in five years and can provide evidence of regular trying, etc.)

Afraid I’d he a no—I want the government to protect people from things (including disease and poverty). This is a “positive right” outwith my definition of Gov function. Fascinating, though!

You can just give people money (UBI or whatever) and let them figure out how down bad they are. Government trying to spot fix peoples' needs is just a recipe for inefficiency and fraud.

I only voted no because I don't believe in expanding the federal government more than it already has, but I would 100% support a private company providing this service.

Ummm... Pay for that with your own money. What you are saying is I need to pay for others. There is no such thing as free from the government.

In communist societies even sex work is state owned. A bad idea for obvious reasons but also just think abt the inevitable degradation of quality. Reminds me of an old ad:
