Going around saying "oh im so sorry about that, i'm autistic" is not that useful imo, for two reasons: can come across as making an excuse and more importantly most people have no or a very vague idea of what autism entails. Imo it works better to describe the relevant trait.

I find the solution there is to say nothing at all.
Those who can't appreciate it, won't like it (excellent filter).
Those who can appreciate it, will become intrigued as they are likely in the same position as you.
