If you're not vegan, I'm not gonna take you seriously when you say bestiality is "wrong because the animals can't consent". We don't care about animal consent in so many ways, and if u aren't pointing it out when ppl eat meat then dont wanna hear u pointing it out with bestiality

If you're going to be consistent on the point of consent then you need to rule out practically all pet ownership, zoos, and most species conservation attempts.

Consent is a way to rationalise away the instinctual discomfort we feel when we try to interpret ethical ambiguity using knowledge and philosophies which our brains are not evolutionarily optimised for. Ie, this feels wrong... I don't know why... But they consented so its OK.

Thats cause it was only made for us and around us like much of our morality. Raping animals is a benifitless sin. Eating however is a benifit also we have to give up consent occassionally like raising vhildren because of skill limit. Consent isnt always the largest element.
