It's kinda exhausting to stay nice on twitter despite the regular brain cancer I endure when I check replies and qts. nearly every day i experience rage that I very intentionally do not act on.
I have a lot of sympathy for ppl who endure similarly and do get publicly angry tho

Would acting on that rage be less exhausting? If so, why are you not doing that?

I don't know if it would. but I don't want people to rage at me, so I don't want to rage at them

With your numbers and reach, it shows a lot on your character to intentionally not react ♡

I get a lot of criticism but at least it's criticism of my ideas/data science/ML and not of who I am as a person (mostly).
Can't imagine how folks deal with that type of hate on a 24/7 basis.

I think everyone feels that same thing. Twitters ability to comunicate is limited and so any message feels condensed so much not able to communicate fully. So when inevitably someone mis characterizes something or makes false jusgement. Not only does that create frustration but..

The tool doesnt allow the ability to resolve the issue. Too much friction to explain further or combat somthng someone said. And the quantity becmes beyond manage anyway. Where combatting any mis characterization appears pointless and they just stack to be a cloud of frustration

Just read some of the recent quote tweets and they make me mad. That would take some mental work to normalize laughing it off.
