if almost any pre-colonization indigenous culture was magically transported like a city to the middle of modern America, they'd probably vote republican
every time I've looked into an egalitarian claim about an indigenous culture I come away disappointed. usually it's pointing at a small handful of rights women had and ignoring all the other significant ways they were disempowered
Your logic is flawed.
ANY group in which only males could vote would trend Republican.
But those indigenous women WOULD vote now.
And some males in that group would recognize that “Republican” doesn’t mean what it once did.
It’s more complicated than you suggest.
Which definition of feminism are you using here?
The "traditional" family model of ca. 1950s American solitary family units, where women don't work, are a very brief aberration in the history of human societies.
