Not as a young kiddy, got a small one as a teenager but didn't use it much. Preferred nintendo & family viewing on the bigger lounge TV or outdoor activities

Whoa. Either the people answering this are all like 40-50+ or my whole concept of that situation was way off. I pretty much didn't know anyone that DIDN'T have a tv in their room. A bedroom at minimum is; a bed, a tv, clothing storage, and ideally a PC. White, lower middleclass.

I voted for "most/all of it" because I had one in my room as a teenager, which is really the time I most remember. Note that I only used it to play video games.

This was during the neolithic so it was the black and white after we got color for the living room (back in the days of antennas).
