200M DAUs * 10% signup rate * $8 /month = $160M / month or $1.92B / year in revenue. Not bad.
About half of my friends and followers on Strava ended up getting Strava premium for ~$8 / month and they couldn't tell you the first thing it does for them

I intend to pay the $8 subscription for other features, like half the ads, paywall-jumping on many links, possible sorting-priority in some tweet displays, etc... but not for 'verification'. so neither answer quite fits.

Interesting that many people are willing to pay for streaming but not twitter even though many users spend most of their time on Twitter…
