Have you ever worked on the floor of a factory doing mechanical assembly for more than three months?

I tried that, couldn't do it for more than a few days because I had unrelenting migraines that were lasting for days.

Airflow Engineering, High Wycombe, welding motors for electric fans. Gloves had holes in them. The Police and Gary Numan were on the radio all day.

I'd kill myself if I had to do that. Superficially it might look like I do the same thing everyday as an auto tech but it isn't. I never have the same day twice. Hell it's rare the first hour is the same day to day and that hour is as close as I get to a routine.

Only like six weeks, but it was oddly relaxing. Days went by fast. I'd get caught up in the routine and making it more efficient, and the foreman would have to remind me when it was time to take breaks. It annoys me in retrospect because I was just burning time for money.
