I got botox for the first time last week! Just a bit in my forehead, people irl haven't noticed. I'm surprised to find that I actually really like the sensation, it feels comforting somehow.

it vaguely reminds me of the sensation of wearing large, swinging earrings, which I also really love

Good job, you've taken the first step in letting vanity creep into your soul.

I've only ever heard positive things about botox, besides the inconvenience of regular appointments

Yeah it was first put on the market for medicinal reasons. It was used to treat eye muscle disorders. Some dental offices use it to treat TMJ, bruxism, and migraines. Also used to stop excessive sweating and treat gummy smiles.

1) Did you get it into the muscles used to frown?
2) If so - has it improved your mood?
There's research about 1 as an off-label depression treatment - supposedly via reverse facial feedback & independent of other effects.
Not yet convinced effect is real.
Look out for 2 maybe?

What feature would that accentuate/mask exactly? Is it kinda like a volumetric makeup?
