It’s a complicated issue for sure, anyone saying otherwise is just being dishonest on either side IMO. I support light federal legislation (like rape exemptions + no super late term abortions) and think individual state laws after that would be best. Look up fetal homicide laws

In don't think the polls necessarily say that. The view that the fetus is just part of the mother's body (which I'm not sure is a real view people hold) has to allow that that part of her body can *become* a person.

I've never thought of "my body, my choice" as an endorsement of the idea of the fetus as part of a woman's body, but acknowledging that family planning is a woman's right because of how it affects their bodies.

This lacks so much honesty... One thing is to decide: i do not want to continue my pregnancy. Another one is: Im gonna amputate an arm to this fetus for no reason and give birth to it. One is a reasonable health option, the other one is plain torture.
