gotten more recordings of my dad’s voice. had some videos of him and a voicemail i had saved but that’s about it, happy that i at least have that to hear him from time to time still

I wish I could have asked my mom for more stories of me growing up and our time in China. I guess we always figured we’d have more time to talk about that “in the future”.
But that’s a nice-to-have. I mostly just wish I could have told her that I knew how much she loved me.
