I answered your other poll as "yes this sounds good," but I value my wife not doing this more than I value having the opportunity myself. i.e. the compromise that monogamy represents in general.

No. And not because of jealousy (I was in an open relationship for 7 years), but because it invites instability. Been there, done that, can't really recommend.

I have to wonder if people are responding out of fantasy or if they would actually be open to this if their partner was also. I think it takes a special person to not get jealous when society is structured in a way where relationships can produce different kinds of dependence.
