I've been looking for a source of dating advice for women similar to "Mate" for men, explaining the long-term skills and competencies one needs to build to be a great lover, companion, and parent and not just bullshit first-5-minutes tricks. unfortunately I don't think it exists
99% of dating advice for women is either:
1. how to be hot
2. how to select men
3. lunatic femcel ravings
my friend recommended this page to me as an exception. it's about overcoming insecurities, girlboss feminism, and anxious attachment, but it still has zero *active* advice
what's attractive about a girl right away (looks, positive vibe, confidence) is not what makes her a good long-term partner other than as a millionaire's trophy wife. and of course, most women struggle with building long-term relationships, not with getting initial interest
back in the day on dating apps half my convos would be me making several jokes in a row and the girl responding with just "haha" or 🤣 every time and then me unmatching because bitch if you can't be bothered to contribute to a text thread what the fuck are you gonna contribute?
ngl i kinda do this on dating apps, i mostly just wait for the guy to say something that interests me, cause the demands on my attention are way too high for me to put in any effort
