kinda feels like my spiritual journey had been less about being at peace or chill and more like seeing how many suffering levels I can stack on top of the lowest, nonsuffering layer without losing contact with it

Doesn't matter if you're an honest hard worker, or you try to avoid responsibility, or you're stuck being responsible for a bad reputation you don't deserve; all our destinies remain the same: We will suffer enormous pain, and have to find some way to deal with it.
