I briefly flirted with believing in and fearing a Christian God for maybe a couple years when I was elementary school age, but I never actually practiced any particular religion beyond going to Sunday school with my cousin out of curiosity,

I’ve flip flopped a lot more then once but I think me and “gestures to the universe” have an understanding now.
It’s as close to peace as I’ve come so I don’t dig too hard. One day I’ll die like everyone else and walk through that last door and see what all the fuss is about.

Both of my parents were agnostic when I was a child, but my mom later became a Christian to cope with the neurodegenerative condition of my younger brother. I’ve been an atheist for my whole life except for a brief period in my teenage years.
