i cant believe people like food enough to go and make lots of television about it. it sorta feels random, like... imagine if there was a massive industry dedicated to juggling - "The Juggling Channel" on tv, thousands of juggling books. im like weird obsession but ok you do you

in a land where the median person is aella, there would actually probably be more media centered around juggling than there would be around food

Eat, reproduce. You could fit the whole animal life under those two. How is it weird then? Your whole body and mind are constructed so that you can get food in order to reproduce at some point later. It's only the easy western life that hides the importance of food.

Humans facination about something will be linked to how important that thing was to our ancestors surviving. If guess being easily fixated by food had a survival advantage. Where juggling probs not so thats with we have food network and not juggling network.

Not liking food shows makes sense but not understanding them is a failure of thinking.

I mean, everyone has to eat, so has at least some peripheral interest in food.

Well, food is the most universal experience we all share, so not that surprising here :)
