I saw a talk by an EMT about 'breath play' at a sex research conference once. He _strongly_ advised against any recreational activities that mess around with suffocation or drowning sensations. He'd seen too many people die from doing that stuff.

I did it as a child to see who was weak and I don’t remember it well. I don’t think it was done correctly and more in a jackass context cuz we were 7
