i *love* dancing, but ppl don't usually like watching videos of dancing unless it's novel and like top 0.01% of skill. I don't feel the same gap with visual art; I feel like I get sort of proportionate appreciation for my drawings given how much I love doing it.

Are there videos of you dancing because I can never picture it. Like your (Twitter) personality clashes with the idea of self expression in that manner.

you might like contact improv dance. it’s improvised, and can be sensual, or athletic, or anything you co-create in the moment. it requires at least two, but there’s no limit to the number of partners.

Definitely. I've sometimes thought of dancing as an almost "selfish" art form: Because it often brings more pleasure to the performer (endorphins, etc.) than the viewer as compared to other art like music/visual art.
