Because guys go around harassing, raping, murdering girls, and thereby ruins all nice interaction contexts. The challenge has always been about vetting the guys or reassuring the girls that they're safe and in charge.

this is actually a good question. dating apps supposed to address this but are mostly overrun with bots and fake profiles and don’t have any useful features like verified STD tests or anything that would help people actually feel more comfortable getting together.

Bumble’s market cap is $4.3 billion. Last I saw Grindr was going public through SPAC for $2.1 billion. Wasn’t Tinder valued at like $3 billion when Match bought it? I think people are already making businesses to help people get laid more efficiently. They seem successful.
