Yes clearly manifestation is like, sort of real. Visualizing success just causes your brain to be primed to look for paths to that success. Astrology is fake (although I’m not convinced it’s More fake than any other personality test)

I have sort of esoteric thoughts on stronger versions of manifestation that could be possible. Maybe one click stronger is that you signal stuff to other people thru body language who then sync w/ your intention and have ideas like ‘oh yeah this guy seems like he’s going to win’

Yes agreed — it’s very complicated how the stories we tell ourselves and the images we visualize impact our lives.

i guess i sort of don't think of this as what most people mean when they say manifestation?
It’s not what they ‘mean’, but even on this interpretation I do think the effect can be very powerful… it reminds me of a quote from Name of the Wind
