i think i'm missing whatever disgust/horror thing people seem to have around sex. bizarre fetishes don't make me feel freaked out, just curious. i don't have any 'depraved' or 'damaging' frame around any sexual arousal, there is no inherently bad arousal in my book.

where i grew up, exposure to the *knowledge of what sex was* or what the genitals of the other gender were like, until age like... 16, was considered too taboo, too much exposure of kids to sex when they 'weren't ready to handle it.' I think they were wrong.

anyway when i see someone wearing big prosthetic boobs i dont feel a disgust response, its mostly like 'huh cool' And the thought teens might see it im like 'well this is the way the world is and it seems reasonable not to shelter teens from that'

i do agree that public school is a tricky frame, tho if you're gonna be on board the "if the majority of parents feel uncomfortable with their kids being exposed to something in the classroom then we should not allow it" then there's a few tougher hypotheticals down the line

I don't know about that. Once would think so. But I lived in Europe for several years, in countries where nude beaches were normal, and I have never been flashed so many times. Not before or since. What's up with that?

this argument is so weird..i also agree nudity isn’t inherently sexual & the human body is beautiful instead of smth to b ashamed of but that isn’t an excuse to start flashing ppl wtf💀

Being aware of it and being subjected to it are two diametrically opposite things. Being aware of sex is good. Being subjected to adult version of it as a child is abuse.
