I’d been doing negative visualization since at least 13—it just felt like a built-in habit.
It wasn’t until ~2016 that I read a blog post describing it and that got me hooked on Stoicism really quickly.

Knowing that consciousness can’t be replicated in a computer. Many still are attached to the notion.

When you say computer, do you also mean robot? Because i agree that software models won’t lead to Artificial Consciousness, however I’m very much inclined towards Robots eventually being conscious.
