I wonder that every day. People put almost no effort into stating what they want or need and their conversational skills are even worse, all while complaining about other peoples conversational skills on their profile/bio.

Ask yourself - what kind of man do you want in your life? Then ask: what is HE looking for? Do you have those things? If so, highlight that. If not - work on that.

Tinder is simply a large corporation whose product is an app. Much like other corporations, they manage to the median. Moonshot profiles are punished with the same weapons as the profiles with no pic or bio. 😊

Because most people prefer it and/or it is most effective, evolutionarily that might be the answer. Or, its become memetically considered as such by men even though most women would prefer something else, but women settle for what is commonly available
