yeah, it's just annoying. it *dramatically* reduces mate options. like 99% of guys i casually meet are less powerful than me
if i go to specific events that are selected for ppl doin cool stuff, then it feels closer to a normal mating market, but those events are pretty rare

I have a feeling you would be highly annoyed by a man that is "more powerful" than you, because you have enjoyed your status for so long that it's comfortable now. A few more years of this and that "annoyance" will evolve into "threatening".

Well you can wait until yours diminishes I suppose. Or you could place a bet on someone whose curve will peak after yours. It's a terrible burden I would hate to bear. You could also discount the part of yourself that sees that as a priority
