i am *terrible* at asking for things. every opportunity I've had with other people was someone else coming to me. How do I get better at asking for things? It's almost like it doesn't even occur to me that i can, and when it does occur it feels like a weird mythical idea.
It's not too late, this kind of Q is best resolved in a 1-on-1, ideally in person. Cos you already have all the required knowledge parts, they just haven't clicked the right way. So asking on twtr just gets people telling you things you already know, which is super frustrating.
