coding sucks, i try to google a basic thing and its like 'here's a billion nearby things that arent quite right, if only you had slightly more knowledge about programming so you could modify my example to be what you need, but you don't so you're screwed'

It's basically autocomplete for code, you can ask it for a function to do a certain thing and it's pretty good at it! Powered by OpenAI code models. In fact if you have gpt-3 access you could just try asking playground for this, if you have no idea what I'm saying I can show you

I think it’s worth pointing out that copilot is produced by microsoft, an org that frequently disingenuously harvests data from other tools it offers (e.g. office 365 offers orgs metric comparisons that use data from other orgs). I wouldn’t trust it to work with sensitive data
